Our new prototype pipe from Profile Performance was still warm when they threw it in the mail and it arrived just in time. We ended up being a little too conservative on the jetting and were a little off on our gearing.
The new pipe was still more responsive and pulled harder from top to bottom! Even with no test time on the pipe and some jetting and gearing tweaks to be made, we finished very respectably. Payton took second place in the heat race and third place in the main.

Round 4: 2nd Place at Birch Creek in Danville, VA
Last week we headed to Danville VA where we raced at Birch Creek, round 4 of 7 for the season. Payton was positioned perfectly to take the number one spot when an unfortunate red flag dropped and the race was stopped with only 7 of the 10 laps completed. We ended up taking second place. But hey, that's racing and a second place finish is still awesome!
We are past the half way point and we are still in first place overall. We'll be working harder than ever to stay there!
